Procedure

In main vessel, add A with mixing. In side vessel, add and mix B ingredients. Add B to main vessel. Mix AB with propeller mixing until uniform. Once the liquid is clear, add the Synthalen W2000 to AB under slow propeller mixing until a uniform, slightly viscous gel is formed. QS with NaOH to neutralize the pH to achieve the appropriate viscosity. Once ABC is neutralized, add pre-mixed D and mix until homogeneous. Transfer the gel to the holding vessel. Properties: pH—6.5 to 7.5; Viscocity—Spindle 3 @ 6.0 rpm=10,000 – 15,000 cst.
